We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver to join the dispatch team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid background in dispatch operations and forklift driving to join a well-established company.
Start date: ASAP
Training will be provided on a double day shift for approximately 3–4 weeks.
Pay Rates: £12.21 per hour
Hours:
Double Day Shift:
- Monday to Thursday:
- Alternating shifts: 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00
- Friday:
- 05:00-12:00 and 12:00-19:00
- (39 hours paid per week)
Saturday overtime – 1.5x pay
Sunday overtime – 2x pay
Duties Will Include:
- Loading lorries in a fast-paced dispatch environment
- Scanning products from conversion line into storage locations
- Ensuring accurate and timely movement of stock
- Following all health & safety procedures
- General warehouse and dispatch duties as required
Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence
- Previous experience in dispatch/warehouse loading
- Ability to use scanners and manage inventory systems
- Comfortable working night shifts after initial training
- Reliable, punctual, and physically fit for manual handling
