We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Workshop Technician to join our client’s team in Sheffield Park. This hands-on role involves carrying out diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and servicing of a variety of machinery, ensuring performance and safety standards are consistently met. Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Job Objective:

To perform diagnostic and repair work across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and brake systems on a range of machinery. The role includes preventative servicing, fault-finding, and post-repair testing to ensure equipment performs to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify faults in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems using diagnostic tools and software.
  • Carry out testing and servicing on internal and customer machinery, including routine and preventive maintenance.
  • Repair or replace defective parts and ensure systems function correctly.
  • Perform post-repair diagnostics to confirm fault resolution.
  • Conduct warranty work, A/C inspections, and brake system repairs.
  • Regrind cutting units as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workshop, yard, and warehouse environment.
  • Participate in ongoing technical and product training sessions.
  • Ensure a high standard of service delivery in all areas of the role.
